This painting was created as an interactive piece during an arts festival in the Netherlands. I wanted to make an artwork that is a symbol of the interconnection of all things. To make it more powerful, I chose to invite people to be part of it. Each human figure you see in the painting is painted from a real-life person laying down on the canvas. And the worlds that are painted inside of each figure is what each person chose themselves - something that they love or feel connected to in the natural world.
